What is Assam Mukhyamantri Sva Niyojan Yojana?

Assam’s Chief Minister, Shri Hemanta Biswa Sharma, recently introduced the Mukhyamantri Sva Niyojan Yojana, which aims to financially assist the state’s new and small company owners. For this program, which would provide a one-time seed capital of Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 1 lakh to young entrepreneurs, the government has allocated a budget of Rs. 1000 crore for the fiscal year 2023–2024 and a projected budget of Rs. 5000 crore for the next three years.

The applicant may choose the company of his choice once the funds have been deposited into the beneficiary’s bank account.

In the first budget of our Govt, we achieved ₹1.06 lakh cr expenditure, our second budget expenditure is projected to touch ₹1.22 lakh cr and in our third budget we aim to achieve a record expenditure of ₹1.39 lakh cr with ₹28,418 cr towards capital expenditure
